Purple passion cake balls

by Elizabeth on February 2, 2013

I don’t even know me anymore. I got up at 5:15 yesterday to run by myself. Ever since I started running early I really enjoy alone time to start the day. I even saw the most beautiful sunrise. Something I haven’t been up early enough to see since? I don’t even know when.

After Noah woke up and we had breakfast, we headed for a walk with Christina and Kyleigh.

<br /><br /><br />

As I mentioned yesterday, we had a special lunch date planned for the 14 day challenge. Which wich is by far my favorite sandwich place ever. And pears are creeping up my list of favorite fruits.

<br /><br /><br />

Noah made a friend :-)

<br /><br /><br />

And he always has stuff to show me.

<br /><br /><br />

Somehow our romantic date turned into being primarily about our baby? I guess romance comes in several forms ;-)

<br /><br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />

After our park date, we drove to Willis to stay with my family. I made us chicken enchiladas and brussels sprouts for dinner and my mom got us dessert from THE BEST BAKERY EVER.

Lindy’s Country Cupboard did my wedding cake and cake balls. Oh my goodness. If you have never had a cake ball come to Houston immediately and we will eat cake balls together all day long. We had german chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, italian cream, chocolate chip, and purple passion (?). Guess which ones are still left.

Let’s be honest though, when all the other ones are gone, you will find me eating some purple passion. Have a great Saturday!

I had a cake ball from Starbucks one time. It was so disgusting!! The frosting to cake ratio was way too much.

The only weekend plans that we have so far are just hanging out, I have two runs (8 and 13 miles) and we’re going to Sweet Frog!!

I love cake balls, Yum!! Purple passion? Is it blueberry flavored? I would have eaten all the peanut butter chocolate first :)

I’ve never had cake balls, but they sound delightful! I’ve had cake pops, which sounds like they might be similar. I have a house plant with purple leaves named Purple Passion. I”m really hoping that’s not what was in your dessert. :)

Awwr a lunch date! Sweetest thing ever! And I feel like pretty much every parent says that it always ends up being about the kids in the end… but there’s definitely some romance and a whole lot of love in that as well :)

Awe! So cute!! Your little one is adorable. A little jealous of your weather! Holy beautiful. I’ve actually never had cake balls! They seem so weird, but I shouldn’t judge before I try, I suppose;)
