19 Weeks: Always predictable

by Elizabeth on January 3, 2014

Not that any pregnant woman ever counted, but I’m technically 19.84 weeks and I’ll be halfway tomorrow! I know your mind is just as blown as mine.

Baby Sauvageau: 19 Weeks

Baby?s size? Banana (the length of)

Maternity clothes? Yes! I wore a few maternity tops over Christmas break. Trying to zip up my jeans would be a complete joke? although I do like a good laugh every now and then so maybe I should do it just for kicks?

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep: I keep bragging about how awesome sleep has been. This past week was a different story. It takes me at least an hour to fall asleep each night but it’s not because I’m uncomfortable, I think I just have a lot on my mind!

Best moment this week: Gosh there were so many! Seeing one of my best friends from college and her family, seeing extended family, a great conversation with Joe’s aunt Carol, celebrating Noah’s cousin Henry’s first birthday…

Miss anything? Good sleep?

Movement: YES! She’s so predictable! Every day after lunch I get about 30 minutes of activity and then when I lay down at night it’s party time :-)

Food Cravings: Hmmm? I have really been loving sweets again. My friend in Lubbock (Leigh, she’s 36 weeks) made AMAZING cinnamon rolls Wednesday morning. She let the dough sit overnight with a packet of vanilla pudding on top and then cooked and frosted them after our run. There are no words. I’ve also been really loving all of the leftover Christmas cookies and toffee!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.

Gender: A sweet little girl to balance out the fam ;-)

Labor Signs: None!

Symptoms: Frequent urination. I know you were dying to know.

Belly Button ? in or out?  In, and getting flatter haha!

Wedding Rings ? on or off? On!

Happy or Moody? Both. Poor, poor Joe.

Looking Forward To: Getting the house organized, setting up the nursery, having Noah transition into another room, and May of course!

This is so fun! Never been pregnant, no kids yet, but it sure is interesting to go and read an active mama’s journey. You look great!

Those cinnamon rolls sound amazing! Can I get the recipe with specifics? Is the dough from scratch or pre-made?

It was pre made dough. All she did was take them out the night before, put the vanilla pudding mix on top, let them sit overnight and bake them for the recommended time the next morning. Frost them when they’re done cooking! The pudding mix makes ALL the difference!

It’s pretty darn impressive that you’re still wearing your wedding ring. Right around the 19th mark, my wife had to take it off (do to the irritation from rubbing skin). You look terrific! Nice to see your workouts are carrying on through pregnancy. I hope it continues to be so enjoyable for ya’. Some women aren’t so fortunate but your smile says it all :)
