The BEST dinner ever on earth period.

by Elizabeth on September 3, 2013

It’s weird today is Tuesday? it still feels like Monday! We are headed out to for a walk/park date with a friend and then to do some errands but first I need to show you some of yesterday’s highlights! We had our family over for a pool party but I failed to take any pictures. I know you’re super sad.

The following requires a brief moment of silence.

This is my absolute favorite dinner of all time. Buffalo Wild Wings parmesan garlic boneless wings. I really wonder how many meals straight I could eat these for without getting sick of them. My guess is somewhere close to 40 years.

I know you’ve been waiting on pins and needles for day three’s fabulous fall recipe!

Chocolate Macaroons.

In all honesty, my sister made these for me (I don’t know what’s up with people making ME dessert on THEIR birthdays, but I like it.) And she followed this recipe. She didn’t have heavy cream so she used almond milk but they still turned out really good. I like how the inside of the cookie part is so gooey! Whether or not it’s supposed to be that way I don’t know ha!

If you missed my other fall recipes, be sure to check them out.

Day 1- Maple Bacon Butternut Squash Casserole

Day 2- Spinach and Mushroom Pasta with Goat Cheese

Make it a great day!

Questions:

1. Has the weather started to change where you live? (If so I am coming to visit)

2. What was the highlight of your weekend?

The weather is still pretty hot and muggy, but it’s supposed to cool down this week. It’s about time for some nice fall weather!

The highlight of my weekend was going to a casino/outlet/entertainment center. I played slots for the first time and beat my brother at bowling.

It’s still pretty warm around these parts, but it’s supposed to be cooling down by the end of the week. The main thing I’ve noticed is that it’s starting to get dark so much earlier… that and I’m usually eating breakfast in the dark too.

We noticed that too. In fact, we went for a walk last night and it was pitch black when we came home at our normal time.

It’s still really hot here in Huntsville. So hot, I actually got sweaty chills and felt dizzy during my 1:30 pm (I know, not the best timing) run on Saturday. I had to stop and lay down in the street, which I’m sure didn’t look crazy at all. Apparently the Woodlands Mall didn’t get the weather memo, since all I saw there yesterday was cute sweaters and boots. I can’t wait for sweater weather!

The highlight of my weekend was seeing my husband’s band play in Houston Saturday night. They were really amazing and performing makes him super happy.

Macarons (just one o, macaroons are the coconut things) are really difficult to make. You need to have to find a good recipe and follow it to the letter, and if you have an oven that doesn’t heat evenly or something, forget it. I’m jealous of anyone who can made them successfully…I gave up forever after 3 fails!

The weather has started to change here. The high today is in the high 60s, it feels like fall. I’m planning to take out my crock-pot in the very near future. I love fall recipes!

Yes! The weather is definitely changing. All summer I’ve been sleeping on top of my sheets but last night I woke up cold! I slept under my covers. Fall is definitely creeping in. You should totally come visit and play with me and Janae :)

Wow both of those look delicious! I love macaroons, and you’re right, the gooey middle is the best. :)

Miraculously, the humidity lifted overnight! The high today is only supposed to get to 85 and a little breeze is kicking up!

The weather has not started to change here, yet, but it is starting to take later to get so dramatically hot, so that’s a sign of changes, right? The highlight of my weekend was spending lots of time with some new friends! It was fabulous :)

The weather hasn’t started to change here in Oxford, MS, but the leaves are starting to fall from some trees. Also, I’ve already caught a fall cold…it’s horrible :(

Yes we are finally getting some fall-ish weather! I busted out the pumpkin candles over the weekend. My husband was NOT impressed.

Love BWW parmesan garlic. The best.

The weather is definitely getting fall-like here. It’s nice and cool in the low 70s this week and we’ve already busted out the fall decorations and fall-scented candles! :)
