Check out that stride and no regrets.

by Elizabeth on May 8, 2013

Is it Wednesday already? This week is flying by! If you missed it yesterday, be sure to enter the giveaway I have going. It ends Friday! P.S. send me some healing vibes… last night I woke up with the most horrible stomach bug and fever. I don’t think today will involve me leaving my bed…

Backing up to yesterday, I started the day with an early morning run. As hard as it is to get up, I always tell myself I never regret it when I finish! And something about running early before everyone is up is pretty peaceful. On a slightly more selfish note, Noah’s in training to be my full time running buddy. Check out that stride!!!

No one tell Joe I’m also training him to push the stroller for me in case he ever has a brother or sister. With only a few crashes (none ending in that water), I’d say we’re good!

Lunch yesterday was leftovers from dinner the night before. I don’t make fish often but when I do I don’t regret it… Yum.

A little afternoon fun for the diaper baby. Actually it was probably me who had the most fun. No pictures, sorry!

And dinner! Just kidding ;-) this wasn’t dinner it was just part of dinner. I stopped by Cinnabon yesterday afternoon. Another thing I never regret. FACT.

The rest of dinner looked like this. I was by myself so I made a turkey sandwich with fruit salad and yogurt.

It was a great day!

Questions:

1. What was the best mother’s day gift you ever gave/received???

2. Has anyone tried the caramel pecan roll from cinnabon? I want to I’m just having trouble committing!

3. Favorite outdoor summer activity??

I love anything that involves water in the summer time: tubing, pool, beach, boat, etc. I havent had cinnabon in ages but now I’m completely craving it!

Oh my gosh, I think I paused for a good 20 seconds staring at that cinnamon roll. Cinnabon makes me so happy :) Favorite summer outdoor summer activity– lying on the beach and bbqs!

I LOVE Cinnabon! That looks so delicious! I love going to the beach during the summer – i live like 20 minutes away so it isn’t much of a hassle!

I’m sorry you aren’t feeling well. I was out for the count for about 6 days in April with the stomach bug… I hope it goes away quick for you!
I don’t like cinnamon rolls… I know, defriend me now :(
“SEE” you tonight! :)

Ack! Feel beter soon, girl! I had some kind of stomach thing going on this past weekend and it was misery. Definitely sending healing vibes your way, although I think that a cinnamon bun would probably help a little more ;)

Your son is just the cutest thing! I love cinnabon but I always make my husband and my son share it with me! I think I have tried the other stuff they have but the Cinnabon is the best by far. I walked by there the other day and I think they even sell just the center of the roll now!

I love watching my son play in his pool outside. We already have good weather, so we have been able to start out early this year. This summer will be fun, since he just started walking and communicating more. I have never tried the pecan ones from Cinnabon, not really a fan of pecans, but am a fan of their regular cinnamon rolls, yummy!! My mouth is watering just thinking about them. :)

Another benefit of Noah learning to push the stroller? He can push you in case you ever get tired!

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon, momma! My favorite outdoor activity is anything that involves water and sunshine. Good thing I live in FL and there’s a lot of both! I also love eating watermelon. Does that count as a summer activity?

AHH Cinnabon! Amazing. Also that big water ball thing looks like so much fun! Too bad it was like high 30s here today. Not ideal temperatures for playing with water toys in the backyard.

I hope you feel better soon! Stomach bugs are the worst. :(

Um, I’m pretty sure I just gained ten pound even thinking about, well, anything from Cinnabon! Not that that ever stops me – you know the very inside of the cinnamon roll? The best, gooiest part? I feel like with Cinnabon that part is about a million times bigger, which makes it about a million times more delicious :)

Anything involving sun and water is great in the summer. Tubing down the river back home is one of my top summer activities!

How cute is your son! I’m so, so ready for summer!
I have to say I’m pumped about my Mother’s Day gift for my mom this year! My dad, sister and I are getting her a KitchenAid mixer (Target is having a great sale!). I absolutely love mine! Feel better and happy early Mother’s Day to you!

Don’t laugh, but my favorite Mother’s Day gift ever was a Turo self-propelled lawn mower! It’s what I asked for! I love gardening/yard work so it was the perfect gift for me. :-)
