A mug shot plus three dinners.

by Elizabeth on April 26, 2013

It’s official. I am trying Crossfit for the first time on Tuesday at 9:30. Pray I don’t die!

Noah smiling away for his first (and hopefully LAST) mug shot. We (ok I) had to go to the courthouse to sign up for defensive driving for a ticket I got a really long time ago. Be really jealous I get to sit and listen to 8 hours of lectures on how not to be an offensive driver. Just throwing it out there that I probably need a lot more than 8 hours so I guess I won’t complain!

Meet my new BFF. Sorry Joe, mom, Noah, and the one other person I talk to on a regular basis but you have all been replaced. I bought this drink cup at the gas station a quarter of a mile from my house on Thursday morning and they have the BEST ice (sonic style!!!!) I have been back 4 times to get a free ice refill and that’s not an exaggeration. If you are wondering why there is masking tape on the side it’s because I accidentally stabbed a hole through it and heaven forbid I purchase another cup for $1.50.

This is my current favorite snack. It tastes exactly like banana bread.

Noah said he is taking over the blog. He has better things to talk about than ice refills and banana bread bars.

Dinner numero uno. Salad with blue cheese, ground beef, and sweet potato fries.

Dinner numero dos. Hanging out at the neighbors backyard BBQ. The kids had pizza and Noah was the only boy allowed to sit on the girls mat because he is just that cute ;-)

Dinner numero tres. Apparently I was having camping withdrawals and I really wanted some s’mores. Turns out they are pretty darn good made in the microwave!

I hope you’re having a great Saturday!! P.S. I got some awesome parenting tips here.

Questions:

1. How many tickets have you had?

2. What’s your current snack of choice?

3. Do you know/get along with your neighbors?

I made smores in the microwave last night too!! Be careful at Crossfit. I’ve seen lots of injuries from people pushing it too hard.

Yikes… *knock on wood* I haven’t gotten any tickets yet!! Sorry about the 8 hours worth of lectures! Sounds awful!!
My husband and I went through a s’more phase a few months ago where after every dinner we’d have 1 or 2 s’mores each just in the microwave… lasted for a good month too! ha! So good! :)

I have never had a ticket (knock on wood). I think the first time I get pulled over I’ll just start bawling.
Current snack of choice: peach greek yogurt
I don’t really know the neighbors to each side of me but I’m friends with my neighbors my age in the area.

1) I stopped counting at 15 but it’s probably close to 22.
2) granola bar–chocolate chip
3) unfortunately, we don’t really talk to them. One is like 100 years old and a crab, the other
We just don’t have that much to say.

So sweet, Elizabeth! :)
Firstly, I have never had a ticket! I try hard to pay attention to the speed I’m going :)
Secondly, I love trail mix with almonds, dark chocolate, and tart cherries. I could also drink iced coffee all day long.
Thirdly, I am a Resident Director in a women’s hall at a college! Haha..so technically I have 70 Residents… 70 neighbors :) They are a blast!

Also, be careful on craving ice…that’s a sign of iron deficiency :/

I’ve had so many tickets that I lost count. BUT I think I got it all out of my system because it’s been years since I’ve gotten one. Actually, that’s a lie. I haven’t gotten it out of my system at all… I’ve just been lucky.

Knock on wood, I have had 1 ticket, and it was because I didn’t have my front license plate attached to my car and I had parked in front of my house in IL. Silly. I thought for sure I was getting a speeding ticket on Thursday…but he ended up pulling someone else over instead. My current snack of choice is anything with peanut butter. Can’t get enough peanut butter! I get along with my new neighbors..they’re older and they always invite me over for dinner and things like that. They’re sweet!

The day I had my sonogram with my oldest son, I got pulled over for speeding. I showed the officer my baby’s picture and he let me go with a warning! :-)

That banana nut bar sounds really good! I think I got one in a race packet, because it sounds really familiar. My current favorite snack is an avocado!

I’m lucky and have really great neighbors! You have a great weekend, too!

I got one ticket in college. That same cop caught my sister in that same spot on highway 6 going from Baylor to college station 4 years earlier. No lie! Speed trap if I ever saw one!

In my apt I don’t know any of my neighbors but my neighbors growing up were the greatest. We were on a culdesac and were all around the same age and it was so fun!

I have had a few tickets but for things like rolling through a stop sign so luckily no need for driving school. I rarely interact with my neighbors but wish we were all close :)

The only tickets I’ve gotten were parking tickets and the speed camera ones. Man, they are expensive; I got caught by one near my apartment, and that’s $100 down the toilet :( At least I don’t get points or anything, so I’ll take it was a lesson learned.

I’ve been snacking on kettle corn! I made a big batch yesterday and it’s so addicting. It’s the easiest thing to make, too.

I’ve only had 1 ticket. Have I deserved many many more? Why yes.

Luna bars, string cheese, Chobani

We only really talk to 2 neighbors regularly and get along pretty well with both!!

Getting cheap flights to Rome also mean visiting the famous and beautiful
Trevi Fountain. A great calorie saver is to drink water and if you choose to have something else, what about a diet beverage.
As such, the journey to your French Alps ski
holiday is already a journey by itself because of the amazing views and picturesque scenery that you
can enjoy on your way to the French Alps.
