Christmas this year was very different than any other Christmas I’ve ever had. We woke up in Cozumel bright and early and began searching for a Christmas mass to attend.
We found a small Cathedral and were pretty early so opted to walk around for a bit before mass started. Joe and Jeff managed to get an awesome deal on some authentically fake RayBans during this time. Twelve dollars.
Side note on these two… Their Christmas card was my absolute favorite! It said, “We’re expanding by two feet!” Joe glanced at it and passed it to me and when I read it I started freaking out because clearly he didn’t read it thoroughly! Two new cousins for Noah in 2013?We’ll take it
Someone didn’t seem to notice that the mass wasn’t in English. It sounded just like every other mass to him!
After mass we found this giant tree by the beach so of course had to get a family Christmas pic!
We then loaded up in a taxi and headed to Paradise Beach. Notice the new shades
The beach itself was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Ninety degrees and sunny!
Now I know where Santa daycations after a long night of traveling around the world. What better way to unwind?
You weren’t lucky enough to watch men in speedos climb a fake iceberg in the middle of the Caribbean on Christmas? How unfortunate.
I have to disagree with Joe and say that the following picture is the pinnacle of our Mexican picture taking. Making a one year old keep on sunglasses, giving him a mohawk, getting the camera ready and focused AND getting him to give you a thumbs up in a 1.7 second time period has to count for bonus. Oh, please note the palm trees in the glasses’ reflection. Sorry babe, I win.
A huge thanks to this guy for turning 60 and deciding to celebrate with a family cruise!
Our last family Cozumel picture! What a blast!
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and are ready for a great 2013! I can’t wait to see what the year will bring
