I don’t know how yesterday could have started off any better. Joe didn’t have to leave for work until 8:30 so we got to have breakfast together which NEVER happens on weekdays! I made an omelette with spinach, bell peppers, goat cheese, jalepenos, and onions (I’ve been loving onions lately and I think Joe is plotting to murder me in my sleep. That’s how much he hates them.)
My mom sent me this text a little later and it may have been the highlight of my day.
Of course I had to google it and make sure her info was legit. Sure enough… How about we just fast forward to May?
I picked up this at the store. I needed something to hold me over until May and chocolate caramel frosting sounded like just the thing. Where’s my spoon?
I’m hoping it’s just a phase (please don’t laugh and tell me one that lasts 18 years), but we are having a HARD time in the discipline area. I’m trying my best to discipline from a place of love but man, it’s not easy!
Wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world though. I feel blessed to have him And I also feel blessed to have a husband who will take him out of the house so I can have some quiet time in the evening. And no, I don’t feel guilty!
Have an awesome Friday! We have a packed weekend starting with a trip to College Station to be with my sister when she gets her Aggie ring! See y’all soon
